As of August 2022, Citrus became employee owned. Citrus was established by Cheri & Lance Shores in 2006, and has always been known for our quality, innovation, and customer service in the coastal Virginia community. Citrus’ legacy continues in the best possible hands, the employee-owners. Passing the business onto the employees, continues to honor their hard work and preserve the company’s legacy for generations to come.

Today each traditional TASTE location is part specialty foods market and part upscale café offering made to order salads, sandwiches & soups; small batch, from scratch housemade prepared & packaged foods; boutique wines & craft beers; specialty food & gift items and culinary events.
